First Degree Reiki - $225
First Degree Reiki is a practical art that offers tools to help make life easier and more joyful. A First Degree class rekindles the wisdom that is already in each one of us. Students receive instruction on the history of Reiki in customary oral tradition, a discussion of the philosophy and principles of Reiki, the sequence of hand positions in complete self and ‘other’ treatments, and attention and guided practice in giving and receiving complete one-hour treatments. Students also participate in a series of four initiation ceremonies during the class which allow Reiki energy to move more fluently through the hands. Saturday Lunch included. (Students with previous First Degree training may audit the course with instructor approval for a cost of $75.)

Our Higher Wisdom; Connecting with Your Intuition - $20 (and bring a friend for free!)
with Maureen Pua’ena O’Shaughnessy
An evening with Hawaiian Reiki Master and Intuitive Maureen Pua’ena O’Shaughnessy focusing on intuition and our personal connection with our own ability to access it. Venture out for this evening even if you don’t know what questions to ask...Maureen always speaks to the information that people in the circle need to hear! Maureen Pua’ena O’Shaughnessy is a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition, and is a member of The Reiki Alliance. She began her work with Reiki in 1991, and was initiated as a Reiki Master in 1995 by Reiki Master Jessica Osborn-Turner. She teaches Reiki full time, traveling between Hawaii, the mainland U.S. and Canada. She teaches classes regularly in Honolulu, has been a guest speaker for many organizations and has appeared on numerous Radio and TV shows.

In late 2006 Maureen discovered that her intuitive connections with others had expanded. As she explored this new ability she understood that the source of this information was the “higher self” of those asking questions, merged with her own “higher self”. Through this window she is able to be the ‘voice’ for the ‘knowing’ that we all have within. Our Higher Self is that aspect of our consciousness that is always connected to our Eternal Being. The other part of our consciousness is our personality, and is focused on our daily existence and the physical world.

To register contact Ellen at or (503) 931-2385 phone or text.

(Maureen will also be available for individual intuitive sessions on August 30 and 31 and September 1. Find out more and Register for individual sessions at the following link: or through
