The Nature of Reiki; Exploring our Subtle Energy and Relationship to “All that Is”
$200
Lineage Bearer Phyllis Furumoto often spoke about the ‘absolute’ and ‘relative’ worlds that exist in our experience of life. I’d like to offer a few words about these concepts:
The relative world
is that which we experience every day after waking, and before we fall into sleep. In this world, humans in every culture have created a way of relating to each other through the use of agreed-upon norms and values that allow us to get along in relative harmony. We might call this ‘consensus’ reality. This world is the binary system of ‘if this, then that’ where everything is ‘relative’ to something else.
The absolute world
is that of non-ordinary or ‘non-consensus’ reality. In this world there is nothing to judge or compare anything else to – experiences are ‘just so’. Every person and experience is full of their own potential – or series of potentials – to grow and mature into exactly what they are called to be by their own true nature. You might say that individual potentials navigate and follow their own ‘North Star’ in this world.
In this upcoming weekend together we will explore these two worlds, our experience of each, and the place where we stand poised and balanced ‘on the bridge’ between them. We will identify, explore and experience energy clues and invitations, see how the natural world embraces these experiences, and we will share Reiki, laughter, stories, food and possibilities.
